Project HAWK-EYE / STM32 Control Module
Problem Description
DOCUMENT CODE: BR-79/RED/CONFIDENTIAL
CLASSIFICATION: LEVEL 4 — UNAUTHORIZED POSSESSION IS A CRIME
On October 12, 2025, a cargo container was intercepted leaving an abandoned industrial facility believed to be associated with AURORA SYSTEMS DEFENSE LABS, a private military contractor operating without known oversight.
Inside the crate were 17 identical control modules, each built around an STM32 series microcontroller. None of the boards match any publicly registered design, and the manufacturing facility markings were chemically erased.
Intelligence analysts believe these boards were part of a weapons stabilization and targeting subsystem used in remote-operable drones.
Before the boards were destroyed for safety analysis, a technician reported something unusual:
There is text hidden inside the PCB layers.
It appears intentionally concealed.
Likely a signature, identifier, or a passphrase left by the engineer.
Your task is to analyze the recovered Gerber files and extract the hidden information.
The hidden message follows the known intelligence format:
